National Actions
U.S. Residents: Urge your legislators to support the Captive Primate Safety Act
If passed, the Captive Primate Safety Act, (H.R. 8164/S. 4206), would prohibit the private possession of nonhuman primates and the sale or transportation of nonhuman primates for the wild “pet” trade. Ask your federal legislators to support this legislation today!
Help Ban Cruel Octopus Farming in the U.S.
Urge your U.S. Senators to co-sponsor the OCTOPUS Act, which would ban commercial octopus farming in the U.S. and prohibit imports of farmed octopus from foreign countries.
Urge the FDA to Require Disclosure When Products Contain Animal Ingredients
Your comments are needed in support of the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s petition for rulemaking urging the FDA to require products that contain animal-derived ingredients to be labeled with a disclosure.

Pennsylvania: Protect Captive Wild Animals from Dangerous Public Contact!
The Pennsylvania General Assembly is considering a bill, H.B. 1451, that would address a harmful regulatory change adopted by the Pennsylvania Game Commission that is currently permitting captive wild animal exhibitors to sell public contact experiences with wild animals.
Kansas: Urge Lawmakers to Oppose Unconstitutional Ag-Gag
The Kansas legislature is considering a harmful bill, H.B. 2816, that would stop whistleblowers and animal advocates from exposing animal cruelty by criminalizing undercover investigations at animal agriculture facilities such as puppy mills, factory farms, and slaughterhouses.
Florida: Help protect black bears today!
Take action to protect Florida bears from a dangerous bill! If enacted, An Act Relating to Taking of Bears (H.B. 87) would allow for the unregulated shooting of black bears in urban and suburban areas by permitting Florida residents to shoot black bears if they claim to feel threatened or feel their property is being threatened by the bear.
Kentucky: Take Action Against Unconstitutional Ag-Gag!
The Kentucky legislature just passed a harmful bill which would stop whistleblowers and undercover investigators from exposing animal cruelty by criminalizing the capturing and sharing of video and photos at factory farms and slaughterhouses.
