Save Bow! Urge Congress to help the last solitary “pet” chimpanzee
This action is for residents of the U.S. and its territories only.
The Animal Legal Defense Fund has submitted a complaint to the United States Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Department of Justice on behalf of Bow, the last solitary chimpanzee held in the U.S. as a “pet.” We are calling for the agencies to enforce the Animal Welfare Act and Endangered Species Act, confiscate Bow, and transfer him to a Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries-accredited chimpanzee sanctuary where he can finally receive the care he needs and, for the first time in roughly 24 years, the chance to be among other chimpanzees.
Urge Congress to intervene on Bow’s behalf by demanding those agencies act!
