National Actions
Defend the Big Cat Public Safety Act
Urge your federal representative to oppose H.R. 7159, which aims to undo protections established by the Big Cat Public Safety Act, including by creating exemptions allowing direct contact with big cats, such as cruel cub petting.
Support the Humane Transport of Farmed Animals Act
Urge support for the Humane Transport of Farmed Animals Act (H.R. 5286) to require stricter enforcement of the Twenty-Eight Hour Law and prohibit the transport of sick or injured animals.
Urgent Action: U.S. Senate Revives Push to Override State Animal Welfare Laws with Rebranded EATS Act
Act now to oppose the Food Security and Farm Protection Act, a repackaged version of the damaging EATS Act which would undermine individual states’ ability to enact their own laws affecting agricultural practices.
Support the Pigs and Public Health Act
Take action now to support the Pigs and Public Health Act, introduced by Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX-16), which aims to reduce the number of nonambulatory or “downed” pigs — pigs who are too sick or injured to stand or walk unassisted — in the food system.
