Cristina Kladis

As a Senior Staff Attorney, Cristina brings impact litigation to strengthen protections for animals, uses environmental laws to combat pollution from industrial animal agriculture, and challenges unconstitutional laws that harm consumers, activists, and businesses.

Cristina began her career as a litigation fellow and staff attorney with the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s Litigation Program. She graduated with honors from Lewis & Clark Law School, earning certificates in environmental law and animal law. In law school, she served as an associate editor of Animal Law Review, chaired the school’s chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, and represented clients as a student attorney in the Animal Law Litigation Clinic. Before law school, Cristina was a freelance journalist and produced a documentary on the environmental impacts of meat production in rural Indiana.
