Legislative Affairs Fellow
As a Legislative Affairs Fellow, Blair supports the Legislative Affairs Program in their federal efforts to promote stronger animal protection policies and advocate for legislation that advances animal welfare.
Blair holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from American University, where she interned with the U.S. Senate and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She graduated cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, where she was active in the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund and served on the editorial board of the Animal & Natural Resource Law Review. In her third year, her student note, “The History of the Norway Rat: What Cities Have Been Doing vs. What They Should Be Doing to Humanely Manage Populations,” was published in volume 21 of the Journal of Animal & Natural Resource Law. She also spent two summers clerking for the ALDF in the Legislative Affairs and Pro Bono programs.
Blair lives in Washington, D.C., with her fiancé and their rescue dog, Lulu.
