New Graduate Registration and Travel Grants

The Animal Legal Defense Fund will be offering New Graduate Registration and Travel Grants to the Animal Law Conference, co-presented by the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Center for Animal Law Studies. The Animal Law Conference will take place from October 16-18, 2026, in Washington, D.C. Former Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter members who graduated in 2026, 2025, and 2024 will be eligible to apply for this grant.

The Animal Legal Defense Fund will be offering 20 in-person grants. The in-person grants will cover Friday and Saturday nights at the Conference hotel (Grand Hyatt Washington) booked by ALDF and registration for the Conference. Recent graduates will then have $600 to use to cover travel and a banquet ticket for a total package of $1,500.

The Animal Law Conference is switching schedules! This means we will have an Animal Law Conference in October 2026 and March 2027. This application is only for October 2026, and a new application will open for March 2027 at a later date.
