Join Animal Legal Defense Fund's Staff Attorney, Daniel Waltz, and the New York City Bar Association Animal Law Committee for an exciting panel discussing the Endangered Species Act under the Trump administration. The panel will cover key regulatory and legislative changes to the Endangered Species Act (ESA) under the Trump administration including: new standards and rules, removal of species from protection, reduction of funding for certain initiatives, trophy hunting and import, and ivory trade and import of ivory and rhino horn. We will also discuss recent key federal litigation interpreting Endangered Species Act. We will also touch upon currently proposed legislative, regulatory and statutory changes to the ESA.
