2021 Summit on Passing Municipal Animal Laws
February 6, 2021 12:50 PM to February 6, 2021 5:00 PMET – Eastern Time
Join Stephanie Harris, senior legislative affairs manager with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, along with the MSPCA, Animal Rescue League of Boston, the Humane Society of the United States, and animal advocates from across Massachusetts for a summit to learn strategies to help pass animal protection legislation in your city or town and to empower your community to make change for animals.
At the summit, you will meet advocates and elected officials who have worked on local animal laws, and will have the opportunity to learn more from experts in the field about local bans on the sale of fur products, wild animal acts, and the sale of animals in pet stores.
