Steve Polinski

As Director of Finance, Steve Polinski’s primary focus is on the day-to-day operations and management of the Animal Legal Defense Fund accounts, as well as attending to short-term goal achievements. After financial reports are finalized for the month and quarter end, Steve analyzes trends to reduce financial risk around spending decisions and revenue achievements. Steve also mentors junior staff to become all they can be as accountants and financial managers. Previously, Steve worked as Controller for Canine Companions.

Steve earned a B.S. in Accountancy and M.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois. He has always been a dog lover and an animal advocate. Located in Santa Rosa, California, Steve lives with his wife, Vicky, a trained pastry chef.
