Stefanie Hargreaves

As the Creative and Content Manager, Stefanie guides the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s editorial voice, ensuring it’s consistent and reflective of the organization’s mission across all communication and publication channels.

Prior to joining the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Stefanie worked in the book and tech industries, and owned her own consulting business—where she partnered with many animal advocacy organizations. She’s had the privilege of spending her entire life alongside companion animals, from hamsters to horses, cats to dogs, and even a goat and one particularly sweet bull named Oly. She wouldn’t have it any other way, and firmly believes French poet Anatole France was on to something when he said, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains un-awakened.”

Stefanie lives with her family in Seattle where she enjoys writing, volunteering with the Seattle Animal Shelter, walking her two rescue dogs, Calvin and Coco, and supporting the local soccer clubs.
