Kitara McCray

As the Processing Administrative Assistant, Kitara provides crucial support for the Operations & Membership Services department at the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Her responsibilities include processing donations, managing data integrity in databases, and providing excellent member support. With meticulous attention to detail, Kitara ensures that all donations are accurately processed and reconciled, while assisting donors with inquiries.

Kitara earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in anthropology and social and behavioral sciences from Sonoma State University. Kitara has a decade of experience in administrative work and six years of experience in nonprofits. Outside of work, Kitara enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring new restaurants in the beautiful California Bay Area.
