Jenn Johnson

As Technology Director, Jenn oversees the Animal Legal Defense Fund’s technology infrastructure and security, ensuring the organization’s digital systems effectively support its mission to protect animals through the legal system. She leads with a focus on people, process, and meaningful change, building collaborative teams that deliver strategic technology solutions.

Jenn brings over 20 years of nonprofit technology experience to ALDF. Prior to joining the organization, she served as Senior Advisor at Accelerate Change, where she guided technology strategy and security initiatives. She previously held the role of Director of Web Technology at the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), leading digital transformation efforts for the global animal welfare organization. Her nonprofit technology career has also included senior positions at the National Kidney Foundation and Kids In Need Foundation. She has also provided strategic technology consulting to nonprofit executives, helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their digital capabilities. Jenn joined ALDF to combine her technology expertise with her passion for animal protection to continue making a difference in the world.

In her spare time, Jenn enjoys beachcombing and collecting trash along local beaches. She lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with her rescue cat Mabel.
