The Rhode Island legislature is considering a bill to ban cruel and unnecessary cat declawing procedures in the state. This legislation, S.B. 2007/H.B. 7052, would protect cats from the often-lifelong pain and frustration that comes with declawing. It passed the Senate in April 2024 and is now in the House of Representatives.
Send a message to your state representative below urging them to support this bill.
