Ohio: Urge Your State Legislators to Protect Coyotes
This action is for Ohio residents only.
Protect coyotes by urging your legislators to oppose HB 553. This bill would stop the Ohio Division of Wildlife from adopting rules that would protect coyotes from killing contests, as well as stop year-round coyote hunting and trapping, and instead give that power to a legislature heavily influenced by agriculture and trophy hunting special interests.
- Call your state legislators. Phone calls have much more impact than emails. If you’re able to make a phone call, please do so. You can use this message: “Please oppose HB 553 to preserve the Division of Wildlife’s ability to protect coyotes in Ohio.”
- After calling, send a follow-up email to your state legislators using the form below. Personalizing your message will help it stand out.
