New Jersey: Help Ban the Sale of Cosmetics Tested on Animals
This action is for New Jersey residents only.
Animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and mice suffer every day in experiments testing the safety of cosmetics like mascara and lipstick.
But they don’t have to — and New Jersey residents now have a chance to take action.
A bill recently approved by the New Jersey state Senate, A.795/S.1726, would ban the sale of cosmetics made or developed using animal testing. (Learn more about this bill.) We now need Speaker Craig J. Coughlin to let this important bill proceed to a vote in the state Assembly.
Can you take a few moments to urge Speaker Coughlin to allow this bill to be posted? You can send an email and/or call using the form below. Phone calls have much more impact than emails. If you’re able to make a phone call, please do so.
