Texas Capitol Building, Legislative Conference Center, E2.0021100 Congree Ave. Austin, Texas 78701 United States
Please join us in Austin for this exciting opportunity to advocate for animal welfare legislation, meet with your elected officials and make a real difference for animals across Texas. No prior experience is required to get involved and we will provide the support you need to make the largest impact. This day promises to be relaxing, rewarding and FUN!
Animal Legal Defense Fund's Legislative Affairs Manager, Jennifer Hauge, will be exhibiting at this event.
We are updating our traditional format this year to accommodate everyone’s busy schedule so you don’t have to commit to an entire day—just an hour or two of your time is all that is needed to impact thousands of animals. Attendees may come and go throughout the day as they please. Legislative packets will be available for pick up throughout the day in the legislative conference center (LCC) and volunteers will be in the room to help attendees find their offices. We are also proud to showcase other national and local animal welfare groups on exhibit in the LCC to promote their work and mission with attendees.
Breakfast and Lunch are available for purchase in the Capitol Grill.
Capitol Visitors Parking Garage is one block east of the Capitol building at 1201 San Jacinto Blvd.
