Florida Humane Lobby Day

January 28, 2020 - 9:00 AM to January 28, 2020 - 4:00 PM

Tallahassee City Hall

300 S. Adams St.
Tallahassee, Florida 32301
United States

You’re invited to Florida Humane Lobby Day hosted by the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Humane Society of the United States! Please join us in Tallahassee on January 28th to advocate for animals at the Capitol.

You’ll learn how to make real change for animals in Florida as well as meet with your legislators’ offices to talk about critical legislation, including a bill that would create a Courtroom Animal Advocate Program (CAAP) and allow volunteer lawyers to advocate for animal victims in criminal cases or civil proceedings concerning an animal’s well-being.

Please RSVP so we can keep you updated on the day’s activities and schedule meetings for you with your legislators. Feel free to contact Animal Legal Defense Fund Legislative Affairs Manager Alicia Prygoski (aprygoski@aldf.org) with any questions.

Law students: if you are planning to attend and able to assist as a volunteer, please contact Alicia Prygoski.
