Join us this October, during the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, for “The Link Between Family Violence & Animal Cruelty: A Community-Wide Approach to Breaking the Cycle of Abuse” sponsored by the nonprofit organization Sheltering Animals of Abuse Victims (SAAV) and the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. The conference targets attorneys, veterinarians, social workers, law enforcement, domestic abuse advocates, and other professionals interested in learning more about the cycle of abuse.
