This class will explore legal issues at the intersection of animal rights and free speech, with a focus on legislative attempts to silence animal rights activists.

Presented by Matthew Liebman
Matthew Liebman is a senior litigation attorney at ALDF. He graduated with distinction from Stanford Law School and clerked for the Honorable Warren J. Ferguson of the Ninth Circuit. His writing has appeared in the Animal Law Review, the Journal of Animal Law, and the Stanford Environmental Law Journal. This program is offered in cooperation with ALDF. 10% of the proceeds from the class will be donated to ALDF.
