Lieutenant Alan Borgal has been employed by the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) for 37 years and is currently the Director for the Center of Animal Protection. He has been a Massachusetts Special State Police Officer since 1981 and has extensive experience and knowledge of field investigations involving animal abuse and the unlawful killing of animals.

Kathleen Rice has served as the District Attorney for Nassau County, New York since 2006. She created the Animal Crimes Unit and 24-hour hotline in February 2010 to handle cases involving animal cruelty, abuse, and neglect.
Senator Judi Guthertz
Senator Judith Guthertz serves as Assistant Majority Leader of the Guam Legislature. She works closely with Guam's animal welfare organization, Guam Animals in Need and has introduced and successfully got passed into Guam law a number of animal welfare bills.
Jeffrey Cruz
Jeff Cruz has served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Ingham County, Michigan since 2002. Jeff is a member of the Joint Dog Fighting Task force, which includes local, state, and federal law enforcement, and he lectures law enforcement and concerned citizens on animal abuse/neglect issues.
Jake Kamins
Jake Kamins has worked as a Deputy District Attorney for the Multnomah County District Attorney in Oregon since October of 2010. As a deputy DA in the Misdemeanor Trial Unit, he finds his cases involving animal victims to be some of the most rewarding ones he has.
Erin Oliver
Erin Oliver has been employed by the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida since June 2005 and has been an Assistant State Attorney since April 2006. She was instrumental in securing a strong sentence for a kennel owner who abandoned over 35 greyhounds at his facility.
