What’s for Vegan Dinner?

Posted by Michelle Lee, ALDF Litigation Fellow on September 12, 2011

It’s not so hard to eat good vegan food in the age of the internet. Not only can all sorts of “specialty” items be shipped to you if you don’t have a vegan-friendly grocery nearby, there are vegan recipes galore.

On the other hand, it is the internet, and anybody can just throw up a recipe. You can spend a lot of time sorting out the recipes that are good from the recipes that have not been tested. Here are my picks for some reliable sources:

Oh She Glows
I can personally recommend the lentil loaf recipe.

The Post Punk Kitchen
The baked goods are especially delicious.

Vegan Dad
Actually, most of this looks too ambitious for me (puff pastry?!) but it is a great blog to look at and Vegan Dad sure looks like he knows what he is doing.

Vegan Yum Yum
Yum!

Share the knowledge. What are your go-to sources for healthy, delicious and ethical food?

Forget you Vegans! Not only is a totally Vegan diet NOT healthy, it doesn’t even help digestion or make one live longer. You ALDFers can bite me if you think that me eating a steak makes me “commit a crime.” Yes, Animal Abuse is wrong, but talking about how I HAVE TO EAT VEGAN BEACUSE IT PROTECTS THE F$##%$G ANIMALS, takes away my rights! So forget you!
