We Want to Know What You Think of Our Work!

Posted by Megan Backus, ALDF's Media Relations Associate on August 4, 2011

The Animal Legal Defense Fund has partnered with GreatNonprofits and GuideStar to launch the 2011 Animal Welfare Campaign. The campaign recognizes nonprofits working on issues related to animal welfare and conservation. It’s a great way for ALDF to reach out to potential supporters, but we can’t do it without your help. ALDF has had a lot of great victories this year, including our victory to free Tony the truck stop tiger and the historic vote in Suffolk County, New York to create the nation’s first registry for animal abusers. If you support the work of ALDF please write a review today!

Animal Welfare Campaign 2011Every organization that gathers 10 or more positive reviews during the month of August will make the GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Animal Welfare Nonprofits List.

Please take a moment to write a quick review of your experience with ALDF. You can sign in with your Facebook account or sign up for a GreatNonprofits profile.

Your review only needs to be a few sentences, check out what people wrote about ALDF last year.

The campaign ends August 31st, 2011.

Thank you for your participation!

The ALDF has been on top of cases from a dog set on fire (I would not have known to write a letter to the Wayne County, MI, Prosecutor had it not been for them) to many others across the country I’ve had an opportunity to write letters – without their notification. I, who am not able to get out and work in shelters any longer, can feel like I’m still doing my part. By signing petitions, donating,
and writing letters, there is always a way to help animal cruelty and the ALDF is tops in fighting cruelty. I believe the best way to deter animal cruelty is to make laws as a deterrent to this behavior, just as we do for human cruelty to one another. The ALDF is THE organization doing this! They fight for the weakest, for those who cannot speak for themselves. Please support them in their legal battles for our pets, for all animals.
