Urgent Online-Only $10,000 Matching Gift Challenge!

Posted by Stephen Wells, ALDF's Executive Director on October 25, 2011

DonateWe have some exciting news to share with you. Animal Legal Defense Fund board of directors member Marilyn Forbes and The Sidney and Beatrice Albert Foundation have generously issued a special online-only $10,000 matching gift challenge through October 31st, and we urgently need your help to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for animals.

Every dollar you donate online to ALDF through the end of the month will double its impact on behalf of animals, up to a total of $10,000. Will you help us raise $10,000 by October 31st?

Just think of what your contribution will mean for the animals. Your gift will help ALDF:

  • File groundbreaking lawsuits to stop animal abuse and expand the boundaries of animal law
  • Provide free legal assistance to prosecutors handling cruelty cases
  • Strengthen anti-cruelty statues
  • Help us prepare the next generation of attorneys, judges, and politicians to meet the challenge of protecting animals through the law via our 172 Student ALDF law school chapters

People turn to ALDF’s expert attorneys for legal advice, counsel, strategy, and support in protecting the lives of animals. And yes, like you, I want to help every single time I learn of another horrible example of animal abuse — I want to help bring those criminals to justice.

But we can’t do it without your support.

I hope you’re excited about this special $10,000 matching gift challenge — exclusively for online donations. Will you stand with us once again and help us take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to turn $10,000 into $20,000 for the animals?

Thank you for all you do to support our work to make this a safer world for animals through the legal system. I hope we can count on you to help us meet this matching gift challenge.
